Book Review, Laurnce Gardner "The Shadow of Solomon"

I'm about 1/4 of the way through so far.. it is a pretty good read..

Masonic History is a subject that very few actually persue beyond a certain point because for some reason, whenever a Mason gets to researching the actual origins of Freemasonry, he is met with all types of Obstacles..

My interest was sparked in the summer of 2000 when I was teaching web design in New York. I was working with a friend of mine helping him with his Talent show as a production assistant. The office we were in was situated within a group of offices which were being rented out by the company which pretty much owned the entire floor..

anyhow, one of the people that was working there found out I was a Mason and then he began to slowly harrass me and try to confuse my faith in general.. What he failed to realise was that Freemasonry, being it is not a religion, actually helps man to find the truth if he cares to seek the light..

Ah, but this entry is about the book, yes, it is a very good expose' on the purported history of Freemasonry and it goes into detail about it's involvement on the world stage of Politics..

Freemasonry itself is like a puzzle within a puzzle to me.. it's true origins are known to few if any, and the fraternity itself has been researching it's origins for centuries.. So then, why the big blocade then for those who are bold enough to search? I spose the answer lies in the actual mystery itself.. One can study and search out the symbolism for decades and still not learn all that there is to learn from the wisdom that freemasonry imparts..
